Hey folks, I just read that the Yanks are playing the Dodgers in the Bronx in 2010 on April 13, 14, and 15th. Then, they are playing here in Chavez Ravine on June 25, 26, 27. The Bronx games are mid week and the LA games are weekend. So, everyone, get your traveling shoes on so we can get together and catch a game. Russ, NY here we come!!!!!

There is a lot of talk about who should win the AL MVP award.

As far as I can tell the majority of votes are leaning to Minnie's Joe Mauer.

Now Joe is having a fantastic year and his stats are probably better than any other player in the AL. But please consider that Joe is playing for a team that will not be in Postseason and is struggling to finish at a .500 record.

There is no question in my mind that if there were such an award, Joe should easily come...

Burnett gets suspended for protecting his players and Vicente Padilla gets nothing???? The Commisioner's Office said the umps were wrong in the way they handled it, and I have to disagree wholeheartedly. They did the right thing. The allowed the Yanks to get their retaliation in and then warned both benches. Not one guy on the Rangers backed up Padilla and had no problems with Burnett going after one...
