I'm in for the duration. Our offense has had to scrape out every run it has gotten. If anything, this game has shown Joe he has some other arms out in the
bullpen that have been forgotten about. How about the jobs that Robertson, Aceves and now Phughes has done. That can only restore some confidence in our pen.
Looks like Manuel is going with Madsen and not Lidge. I am not surprised. Hold on to your seats, here comes the 9th inning! Mary Ann

Boy talk about worthless, that's been Teixeira this post season. The only hit he's had is that one homer off Pedro. How can you look at the same pitch
three x in a row and swing at two of them. Guess we finish this in NYC.

Terrible at bat by Tex, just awful. We head to NY. You all can say whatever you want about this game, but our guys at least went down fighting. We made it
closer than some would have thought. In the end, the lead they built couldn't be overcome. Let's turn the page, 1=27. Mary Ann

Been reading a lot on this "short rest" matter. Many are saying the short rest is what is/will hurt the Yanks seal the deal in the WS. I for one
can't believe we've coddled pitchers so much that they can't pitch one game a day early (excluding CC who will pitch more than one game maybe).
Thoughts?

I also have heard about the short rest. If AJ had been on Yesterday (and we all know he is hot and cold with no rhime or reason - and I hope next year Girardi
makes AJ pitch to Posada and let Molina spell Po with all the pitchers. Screw AJ's personal catcher syndrome), everyone would be hailing Joe as a genius.

Amen, Andy, amen! One more word about short rest and then I'm done. These postseason games starting so late and ending so late has put me functioning on
short rest for about the last month. Do I go to work and not perform???? The answer is no! I get my butt out of bed at 5:30 and I am at my desk before 8am
ready to deal with the next challenge of being a nurse. Am I tired, hell yes, but I figure I have the whole offseason to rest. Yes, my job isn't physical,
but believe me it is more mentally grinding than a game! These guys need to dig down deep and realize that once they do their jobs they have a few months off
to recharge their bodies and their minds. The rest of us face our daily grind without that luxury. I guess what I am saying is for these guys to man up and
finish the job they started. I believe in Andy Pettitte, he is an old school warrior who will battle it out even on 'short rest!'. Now c'mon boys
let's get this done!!!
