I found WABC's feed. It's better: Yankees Parade

The parade was great but the city hall ceremony wasn't much to write home about. The music they kept playing was awful and the only player who made
comments was Jeter. In previous years, several of the guys would get up and at least have something to say. The parade was definitely worth taking a day off
to see though!

I agree Mike. They could've just had them all stand in a line and have His Honor go down the line and pass out keys. Maybe they were just trying to keep it
as short as possible due to the overtime the cops, firefighters, and clean up crews were working.

Yes, but the longer they kept people at the ceremony, the more they would but. Ny had a financial windfall from the parade and the costs of police, fire and
other services were miniscule compared to the money they raked in. I heard where Mickey Mantle's restaurant estimated they made an additional $250,000
from the added business during the WS and more from the parade/ceremonies

Boy, talk about dumb. Don't these guys have to take a test or something?
When confetti runs out, Yankee fans toss filesNEW YORK (AP)-New York City office workers who got carried away during the Yankees victory parade Friday apparently began tossing files and documents out the window when they couldn't get their hands on confetti.Auditor Damian Salo attended the Manhattan parade. He tells The New York Post he found all sorts of personal financial documents in the mountains of shredded paper tossed from skyscrapers as the players rode up Broadway. They included pay stubs, banking data, law firm memos and even some court files. The founder of one financial firm, Alan Sarroff, says his company reprimanded one "overzealous" employee for throwing records out the window that should have been shredded. Ticker-tape parades on Broadway are a New York tradition. Information from: New York Post, http://www.nypost.com

I was in the city for the parade, and saw people tossing handfuls of papers out their windows....and was wondering if any of it was confidential in nature!
Guess it was, huh? IDIOTS. Ken
