I'm sending you some chicken soup Russ, that is a bowl of virtual chicken soup. Perhaps, I should send some to AJ as well. That pitch was launched. Shiite,
just like that, we relinquish the lead. Mary Ann

AJ just gave it back. Hey, I'm a little late with this, but you can read it here: Doing the Math: 1=27

AJ looks horrible so far, not looking good at all. He needs to settle down now! Mary Ann

I'm finally here. MaryAnn I called your cell on the way home to get a sense for what the hell was going on with our head case called AJ. This ain't
looking good. I hope things turn around and AJ settles down or we'll be in the bp really soon.

AJ is just pathetic tonight. I'll be surprised if he lasts very much longer. Time to pull AJ--bring in Gaudin for some long innings or Aceves. AJ is a head
case truly.

Thanks for nothing AJ. MaryAnn you might as well get some rest tonight. We'll be back on Wednesday in the Bronx.

He just didn't have any control of his pitches whatsoever. AJ didn't set out to stink upthe joint but it just wasn't his night. It's only the
3rd inning, yes it doesn't look good but I can't get down on AJ. He has given us some stellar innings and I am not going to forget that. Let's go
Yanks!! Mary Ann

you and i differ--i've seen him as inconsistent for some time. he is unpredictable and i want predictable from my players. especially pitchers who only
play once a week or so. he had his biggest chance on the largest stage of his life and he went quietly into the dark night. hopefully our offense can come back
but that means tex must produce when he's given players on base. btw, is cano just mailing it in???? he's terrible at the plate.

There is still more baseball to be played. Yes, you and I differ on AJ, but he doesn't give us that performance in game 2 than this is a much different
series. I agree with you about Cano, he just doesn't even seem to have his mind in the game. Lee has settled in but he's not as invinceable as he was
in game 1. Just don't give up on our guys. They have shown all season and postseason long that they don't quit. Mary Ann

David Roberton gave us 2 solid frames and restored order. Now we have 2 on with 1 out and Damon at the dish. Let's Go Yanks! We got a run back. C'mon
Tex we need a big hit!! Mary Ann

That rally is dead but if our pen can hold this, I think we can keep clawing away at this lead. No I'm not high, I just have to keep having faith. Mary Ann

I did not mean to suggest that AJ doesn't have the stuff. Only he ain't consistent and he is a bit of a head case. Great play by Gardner. This offense
has got to get its shi. together and start some scoring. Cano is due up but that likely is an out. Wow, Cano got a hit. Go figure.

Yes, that was some catch by Gardy. Let's hope he didn't hurt himself because that doesn't bode well for our defense. Here comes Gardy. Cano finally
gets a hit. Mary Ann

Jorge has been pretty useless in this series as well. MaryAnn you might as well go to bed. This team isn't going to make a comeback tonight I fear.

Give the devil his due--Utley has been phenomenal this playoff series. We are blessed to have been able to see it.

I have to back Jeff on AJ. He has been very inconsistent. You don't know what AJ you're going to get. Jorge Posada is hitting .300, but not really
getting timely hits. He also, as Mary Ann said earlier, needs to shut up at the plate. He's coming across like a grumpy old man. Lee wasn't as dominant
tonight as he was in Game 1, but more than a match for Burnett. They need to work with him in the off season and beat the wildness out of him. He's got
electric stuff, but he needs to harness it. Game 6 on Wednesday.

Phil Coke has so few innings lately it is no surprise he has given up the HR's. Maybe it will help work out the kinks for Game 6. Hughes shows up when it
doesn't matter. He needs to pitch when it matters on this large stage. So far he hasn't demonstrated that. Game 6 Wednesday. 1=27
