Great article Russ, a very good recap of the events of the seaon and the buildup to last noght's victory. As you said earlier in this post, this team will
hold a special place in my heart. This is a solid group of players and people. From our everyday players to the small role players Brian Cashman did an
outstanding job putting this team together. As Andy said, we have some work to do with the decisions that will be tough(read: Matsui, Pettitte, Damon).
Let's put that aside for a few days and savor this team's accomplishments. It is always a gift when we can refect on something that brings such joy to
our everyday lives-enjoy it, savor it. Mary Ann

It's been a while since I've come around and posted to the board, but I have very much been watching the Yankees and it was so satisfying to watch this
club become World Champions. So very nice to see and terrific to see Mariano Rivera given the praise he so rightfully deserves.
